Over the decades at St. John’s individual church members have helped to “produce” our worship services with the design to include more and more people.

In the past, worship services and sermons were recorded so that a tape could be taken to the local radio station for broadcast later in the day. Today this production involves Live Streaming, in-house presentations, and sharing via social media.

A small, but dedicated team of individuals makes this possible at each of our three regularly-scheduled worship services each weekend. Only one of the services is live streamed, but we make use of slide presentations at each service. The Connect service in the school cafeteria uses slide presentations instead of a bulletin and the developing musical ensemble needs the assistance of sound engineers (it sounds more difficult than it is).

How can you help? There is an opportunity to help EVERY weekend, and even for other midweek services and special events. Speak with the individuals who are currently producing our services, or ask Pastor Albers how you could help.  Training is provided to every willing volunteer! For that matter, the Governing Board has set aside funds to provide a stipend for a worker who wants to help out and make an ongoing, regular commitment of time to the project.
