BASKETBALL IS UNDERWAY
Basketball team practices began at the beginning of December. Basketball coaches include: Jacob Zoll for the younger girls; David Farris, Chris Lindborg, and Ireland Riley for the younger boys; Ron and Mary Jo Maynard for the older girls; and the older boys are coached by Chas Grott. THANK YOU, Coaches, for volunteering your time and talents so that the students can participate and learn about the sport and sportsmanship.
During basketball games, we continue to keep our campus safe and so the doors are locked but the visiting team and the St. John’s families each have an entrance code to be able to come and go throughout the game times. If you would like to attend the game to cheer on the SJLS students, please reach out to the church or school office and they will get you the entry code needed to enter through door 2. There are always two basketball games in an evening, first the younger team and then the older team, which is why the schedule lists two times for each date.

- 1/22 Girls at Michigan City Armory vs. Renaissance Academy 5:00pm and 6:00pm
- 1/22: Boys at Notre Dame in Michigan City 5:30pm and 6:30pm
- 1/25: Basketball Tourney at Home for 4th-6th Grade Boys and Girls Beginning at 8:00am
- 1/27: Older Girls and Boys at Queen of All Saints in Michigan City 5:00pm and 6:00pm
- 1/28: Girls at Discovery Charter School in Porter, IN 5:30pm and 6:30pm
- 1/29: Boys at Michigan City Armory vs. Renaissance Academy 5:00pm and 6:00pm
- 1/30: Girls Home vs. St. Peter’s of North Judson 5:30pm and 6:30pm
- 2/4: Girls Home vs. Renaissance Academy 5:00pm and 6:00pm
- 2/6: Boys Home vs. Notre Dame 5:30pm and 6:30pm
- 2/8: Basketball Tourney at Home for 6th-8th Boys and Girls Beginning at 8:00am
- 2/11: Boys Home vs. St. Stan’s 5:30pm
- 2/12: Girls at Notre Dame in Michigan City 5:30pm and 6:30pm
- 2/13: Boys Home vs. Renaissance Academy 5:00pm and 6:00pm
