At its meeting in late February, the St. John’s School Board approved tuition and fees for the coming school year, along with the scholarships provided for our students. The total cost of an Eagle education for K-8 students will be $8,200 for the ‘24-’25 school year.  However, 100% of the students at St. John’s Lutheran School received some form of scholarship assistance from St. John’s Lutheran Church and through the Indiana Choice Scholarship program.

While dependent on actual enrollment, the cost of education at St. John’s is about $8,500 per student, excluding the cost of major capital improvements (e.g. HVAC systems or roof repairs). This includes the costs of personnel, curriculum, utilities, and other operating costs.

New this year is a nonrefundable Admission Deposit of $100 which must be paid when the child is enrolled. We limit enrollment to 20 students per grade. While there is currently plenty of space for more students, we anticipate that some classrooms may reach capacity in the coming school year and into the future. Students who re-enroll BEFORE April 19 will receive a $50 discount on this fee.

The tuition and fees are divided into several categories:

  • $7,525 Tuition
  • $575 Registration fee which itself is divided between “operational” costs (such as textbooks and office supplies) and the costs of technology.

The only other fees a student will pay may include one-time costs for music or physical education or an annual athletic fee.
