WEDDING BELLS IN OMAHA
Pastor and Debra’s son, Paul, is to be married on Friday, September 13, at a ceremony to be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Omaha, Nebraska (where Paul is also pastor). Pastor and Debra will likely leave on Tuesday, September 10, and return on Sunday afternoon, September 15.
A TRIP ABROAD
To celebrate Debra’s birthday this past year, she and Pastor are headed on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Germany. (Debra’s family immigrated from Kiel, a city in the northern part of the country, and the Albers family immigrated from Hannover, a city in the center of Germany.) They leave on Monday, September 23, and will return to the States on Saturday, October 5, and NW Indiana early next week.
ANOTHER SATURDAY EVENT
Since another local Lutheran pastor is available, Pastor and Debra will join some friends for an event on Saturday, September 7. Pastor will be leading worship on Sunday morning, September 8.
