Summer brings many changes to schedules, but a couple Bible studies will continue through the summer months! Each of these ongoing studies are still open to new attendees! Those with busy schedules are encouraged to attend when they’re able – irregular attendance is welcomed!
Sunday Morning
Beginning Sunday, June 8, the Sunday Morning group will be taking a break for the summer months. We will likely begin again on Sunday, September 7. Let Pastor Albers know about a topic or book of the bible you would like to study!
WOW: ‘Being Lutheran’
Join the ladies on Wednesdays through June 25th, to read and discuss a book titled ‘Being Lutheran’ by Trevor Sutton. This will be a great time to learn more about what Lutherans believe and how those beliefs are then lived out! (Books can be ordered at this link.)
This group meets in the Chapel on Wednesdays at 6pm.
WOW: ‘The Screwtape Letters’
Beginning July 9th, WOW will begin a discussion on the book ‘The Screwtape Letters’ by C.S. Lewis. This book delves into how Christians are commonly tempted and will lead to great conversation on how Christians can be strengthened to withstand temptations and trials that arise throughout life. They will meet Wednesdays 6-7:30pm in the Chapel. Sign up here!
Women daytime study
On Tuesdays Deaconess Michele has been leading a Bible study through the book of Joshua. As the group looks to wrap-up this study, they will move on to a discussion of the differences in denominations and what Lutherans believe that makes them unique. All ladies are invited to join!
This group meets in the Chapel on Tuesdays at 10am.
