Remember: Student safety is #1 priority!
Just a reminder that traffic is one-way through the parking lots at the beginning and end of the school day. Always enter the parking lot from the Monroe Street entrance (next to the church) and exit onto Kingsbury. Students will exit vehicles only from the first car in each lane. Once those cars are safely unloaded and out of the lane the next cars will pull up. Students may exit the vehicle once both cars have come to a complete stop. Door #2 opens at 7:45am with supervision provided beginning at that time.
If you prefer, you may park in the side parking lot. Parents need to remain outside of the building during drop off and pick up. During the first days of school, staff will be at the front door to assist students struggling to come into the building. We will take care of all the students and make sure they arrive at their designated classrooms safely.
Preschool/PreKindergarten and morning Eagle Care students must enter through door #5. Please park in the east parking lot and bring your student to the door and sign students in. (Pick-up will also be through door #5.)
NOTE: We love to meet with our families. However, if you need to meet with your child’s teacher or another staff member, please make an appointment. (The beginning of the school day is the worst time for these meetings.)
Students in Grades K- 8 being picked up, will be dismissed at 2:25 p.m. through door #2. Please arrive no earlier than 2:05 p.m. We will dismiss students as quickly and safely as possible. Unless your student is the first to leave the building, please do not block the line. If you have several students that are not all outside waiting, we may ask you to “take a lap around” and get back in line so that we can have other students picked up. This process helps our line to move quickly and efficiently.
NOTE for visitors: During the school day, please enter the parking lot from Monroe Street. DO NOT enter the parking lot from Kingsbury Ave between 7:00am – 3:00pm.
