The Student Council for the 2025-2026 year has been selected!
In September, each class voted on who will comprise the 2025-2026 Student Council. The requirements for members of the Council include completing an election form, a 100-word essay, and a campaign poster. They also must obtain 2 teacher signatures and 3 classmate signatures.
The Student Council meets monthly to plan ways to serve both the church community and the school community, giving students meaningful opportunities to lead, collaborate, and make a difference.
Twelve students were elected for this year’s Council. At their first official meeting, the council selected their officers and they have already begun serving our community by volunteering at the Port-a-Pit Chicken fundraiser and assisting with the NEST bake sale. These opportunities allowed students to demonstrate leadership while supporting both the school and the wider community who took part in that event.
Thank you to Mrs. Cindy Skalka for leading the Student Council.
