The Student Council Supported County Animal Shelter and Hoots to Howls Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
Last month, the Student Council was very active, accomplishing several great things. They delivered pet supplies to the LaPorte County Small Animal Shelter, showing care for both the animals and La Porte county. Additionally, they created heartfelt cards for shut-ins, spreading cheer throughout our community. The council also led chapel with a lesson about the Transfiguration of Jesus, enriching the school’s spiritual growth together.
Council Members helped with a penny war to raise money for the Hoots to Howls Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Students eagerly collected funds daily by the buckets. These funds will be totaled soon, so that a class winner can be announced.
Student Council Members presented the check of the quarter 1 chapel offerings to Habitat for Humanity.
