St. John’s Student Council Supports Our Community

In December, the Student Council actively participated in community service by ringing the Salvation Army Bell, creating a festive atmosphere as they sang to encourage donations. Their efforts not only raised funds for those in need but also sparked curiosity among community members, who inquired about the group’s affiliation.

At their Christmas party in December, the students crafted handmade cards for church shut-ins, shared a meal, and exchanged gifts.

The Student Council plans to support local animals by collecting items for the LaPorte Small Animal Shelter, with a scheduled delivery in February. Those interested in contributing to this cause are encouraged to drop off items at the school, showcasing the council’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in their community.
