The Student Council Supported First Responders, to Assist in Caring for Children in Crisis
The Student Council was very active in March. They wrapped up the collection of stuffed animals to donate to first responders, which were delivered at the end of the month. Thank you to everyone who has contributed; they were able to collect several wonderful items!
Additionally, students crafted beautiful cards for the shut-ins at church, showcasing their kindness and creativity. The Student Council also led a chapel session in which they acted out the story of the Transfiguration, teaching all who attended more about Jesus.
In April the Student Council will be in contact with Habitat for Humanity in hopes to soon provide a meal for the workers in order to provide support for the organization.
