Last month, the Student Council kicked off its activities with elections. To qualify, students were required to write a 100-word essay, gather signatures from three classmates who believed they would be good representatives, and obtain two teacher signatures. Candidates also gave speeches to their classes.
The first Student Council meeting took place on October 7th and will continue on the first Monday of each month thereafter. There are now 12 council members for this school year. These students are already busy assisting around the school and got to be part of the presentation on Grandparent’s Day by handing out flowers.
