The Student Council ended 2025 by ringing the Salvation Army bell at the LaPorte Walmart and making Christmas cards for shut-ins to brighten their holiday season. They also helped with Operation Christmas Child by assisting younger students as they packed boxes by carrying items and organizing supplies. After a month full of service and hard work, the students enjoyed a well-earned Christmas party and some time to rest before the New Year.
In January, the student council members made cards for members of the church who are sick, to share encouragement and care through kind words. They also planned this month’s service project: a school-wide “Souper Bowl” food drive to support local families in need.
The goal is to collect 100 food items by Super Bowl Sunday! The class that donates the most items will earn a pizza party. Check your pantries and help us tackle hunger while making a difference in our community.
