Each of our regularly scheduled bible studies will continue to meet throughout May and are even making plans for the first weeks of summer.

Pastor Albers will lead the group in reviewing all of the various resurrection accounts from the Gospels. Recently the stories told by John (the evangelist, not the pastor) have provided plenty of “grist for the mill,” as the saying goes. In the early weeks of May, the group will turn its attention to the work of St. Luke, including a study of the stories of Jesus’ Ascension.

The group may continue to meet through June, but plans for these weeks will be announced in mid-May.

WOW (Women of the Word) WEDNESDAY STUDY

Response to the current study, “Armor of God,” by Priscilla Shirer has been tremendous. More than a dozen have been present each Wednesday since the study began in early April. The group should wrap up its study by the end of May, but isn’t “in a hurry.” The study includes lots of time for contemplation either silently or in small groups.

The group is not currently planning to meet during June or July, but leaders are always interested in hearing your input on what might be a good focus for study.

Roland Lovstad continues to lead the group through a study of various parables of Jesus. The group regularly meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month and currently plans to meet on May 11 and June 8. Plans for July and August will be made by the group’s meeting on June 8.
