Here at the “Eagles Nest” the Intramural Floor Hockey program took place during the three weeks leading up to spring break. All the students that signed up to participate had a fun time learning the game, getting exercise, and having an extra opportunity to be social.
The students returned from spring break and began their Intramural Badminton program. They play in a round robin style with singles and doubles pools. There are about 28 students participating. Some are experienced players while others are just learning the game. Many new players said that this was a pretty cool game and look forward to playing in the following weeks. They play on Mondays and Wednesdays after school until 4 o’clock. Their last date to play will be Wednesday, May 21st, with a week off while the 6th through 8th grade are in Washington D.C..
