In the coming months the Board of Trustees and Pastor Albers will once again be putting out the call to help with various projects around the church and school. And, as the old saying goes, “many hands make light work.”
GENERAL CLEAN-UP/FIX UP
The spring months often reveal plenty of projects that need attention: landscaping, cleaning-up, and miscellaneous smaller projects. This year the Board of Trustees are contemplating a few MIDWEEK evenings as a way to engage more volunteers from the church and school.
Watch for an announcement in the first weeks of May (after the next Trustee’s meeting on May 12). The biggest projects will include cleaning up and cleaning out items that have been “collected” over a period of years, in both the church and school buildings.
In the meantime, if you see a project that needs attention send the church office an email or drop by with your suggestion.
SCHOOL CLEAN-OUT
Principal Berndt and Mary Jo Maynard (our day custodian) are seeking a few volunteers on FRIDAY, JUNE 6, beginning at 10am (and ending with lunch). The primary tasks will involve filling at least once dumpster with “extra” items that teachers and other staff identify as no longer needed. Let the School Office know if you can help!
