Interested in a unique part of our ministry at St. John’s?
Now that Suzi Larson is unable to serve in the ongoing role of Cemetery Sexton, Pastor Albers has asked Jennifer Martinez, our Church Administrative Assistant, to gather interested volunteers to review both our process and records for our church cemetery.
The church cemetery dates back to the founding of St. John’s more than 165 years ago. Plenty has changed over the years and it will be important for this group to take a look at where things are now and make recommendations for the future. The care of the cemetery is under the Board of Trustees who would approve any changes and propose any adjustment to the bylaws to the congregation.
Jennifer has scheduled a preliminary meeting for Wednesday, January 17th at 5 pm in the Ladies Lounge. Please join us for more information.
