An infant son from St. John’s remains hospitalized and in critical condition in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Riley Hospital for Children. Baby Eddie’s condition has been improving in recent days so we do have reason to give thanks and continue to pray for healing strength. Dad has returned home to La Porte while mom remains with their child in Indianapolis.
Our vigil will be in the chapel and begin at noon on Wednesday, November 29, and end with a prayer service at 6pm. A short period of prayer, 5-8 minutes will begin each half hour (12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, etc.) The prayer service at 6pm will end at approximately 6:20pm. Individuals will be encouraged to remain in the chapel. Everyone is welcome to join us.

There will be a candle box (like the one we use for Mother’s and Father’s day).

A visual prayer station will be set up in the back of the chapel for people to pray using prayer spaces and prayer cards. These prayers may be taken with the person praying, or left in a basket for Eddie’s family as prayer for them (prayed over, then for them to pray with).
