This quarter the school’s chapel offerings are going toward Operation Christmas Child. All finances raised will help to cover the costs of shipping the shoeboxes that are filled with the donations of school supplies, personal care items and toys.
If you would like to help, the school will be collecting items through November 21st. Donations of school supply items, hygiene items or financial donations to cover shipping costs are needed. The school is asked to donate school supplies, personal care items, or some fun toys. Suggestions are listed below.
The students will be packing the items on Friday, November 21st.
School and personal items include:
- Toothbrushes
- Socks
- Combs and hairbrushes
- Pens, pencils, sharpeners, crayons, and markers
- Notebooks and coloring books
- Solar powered calculators
- Sunglasses
- Hair accessories
- Flashlights
Fun ideas that can be included:
- Soccer ball with pump
- Dolls and stuffed animals
- Shoes
- Toy cars
- Jump ropes and yo-yos
- Toys that light up and make noise (with extra batteries)
Items that are NOT accepted:
- Toothpaste
- Soap (liquid or bar)
- Gum
- Damaged or used items
- Lotions or any liquids
