National Lutheran Schools Week is coming up at the end of January! There are more than 1,800 LCMS preschools, elementary schools, and high schools around the country proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to students and families. This yearly event celebrates God’s work through our LCMS Lutheran Schools. It will also include dress up days and fun activities for the students throughout the week.
Worship and Breakfast on Sunday
The week kicks off on January 26, 2025, when students will be part of the worship service at 10am. Breakfast will be provided by NEST (Nurturing Eagle Support Team), at 8:30am in the Cafeteria. All are invited to join this wonderful morning of community and worship!
Blood Drive & PaperPie Bookfair
There will also be a blood drive, held in the cafeteria, on Tuesday, January 28th. The blood drive will be open 2pm-6pm with the first hour being only St. John’s folks. Signup for the blood drive between 2-3pm here or between 3-6pm here.
The PaperPie Bookfair will be open in the ladies lounge after the Jan. 26th worship service and will continue throughout the week.
School Spirit Wear For Sale
During National Lutheran Schools Week, there will be various t-shirts, sweatshirts and other clothing for sale. The sale will run only January 22 through February 2. Purchases will be shipped in early March and orders will be available to pick up from the church and school offices.
More information will be available at the National Lutheran Schools Week worship service on January 26th at 10am, so that church families can see what is available to order.
