The NEST (Nurturing Eagle Support Team) has done an incredible job at caring for and supporting the young Eagle students and the staff. At the end of the school year they undertook several large projects, including covering the costs for the photographer for the Middle School Dance, organizing the upcoming Field Day events on the last day of school, and coordinating Faculty/Staff Appreciation Week.
On the last day of school, the NEST held a picnic-style lunch, with parents joining to serve the students. Volunteer parents and grandparents led nine different game stations for Preschool through 8th-grade students, featuring activities such as hula hoops, tug-of-war, sack races, and football tosses.
Additionally, the NEST will be meeting this summer to plan a tentative calendar of events for the 2025-2026 school year.
A special thank you to the Co-Chairs, Kati Stone and Katie Geise, for your outstanding organization of events and leadership this year. Also, a big thank you to Maria Surma for serving as the liaison from the school board.
