The NEST has been busy this summer, brainstorming family activities and creating a calendar of events for the upcoming school year!
Some of the NEST sponsored activities are Family Fun Nights, Grandparents Day, Donuts with Grown-Ups, Teacher Appreciation Week, Field Day, and more! In order to financially support these events, several fundraisers are planned for September.
The annual Fall Mum Sale will begin on August 22. Orders due on Sept. 9, and mums can be picked up on September 14th. Order forms will be available to pick up from the Narthex, credenza at Connect, or the Church Office.
A Culver’s Give Back Day is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17. Put it on your calendar to skip cooking dinner and head to Culver’s for a delicious meal to support NEST!
Back by popular demand, a Port-A-Pit chicken sale (with Pit-tatoes) will be held on Friday, September 26. This is a quick-to-sell-out event, so consider purchasing pre-sale tickets!
The members of NEST appreciate the support of St. John’s congregation! Church and school families are welcome to join for any amount of support they have the time and ability to give. Volunteers are invited to join the team for the school year, to just help with a single event, or to stop by to see how parents, teachers, and other caring adults are nurturing the young Eagles of St. John’s Lutheran School!
