Nelson’s port-a-pit will be at St. John’s on May 15th, selling chicken and pit-tatoes. There will not be pre-sold tickets, so the food will be available beginning at 2pm until it is sold out, likely by 5 or 6pm. The ½ chicken is $10 and pit-tatoes are $5.
The proceeds will go to NEST, to help cover the costs of the many events they plan throughout the school year to support the students and their families.
The events they are currently planning include the field day at the end of the school year, Popsicles with Parents during the summer break, and some special back-to-school fun events! If you’d like to help with the brainstorming, planning or execution of NEST events, contact the school office to be connected with Kati and Katie or join the next NEST meeting.
