St. John’s is hosting the Regional Spelling Bee at the Civic Center! Rather than settling for a virtual Spelling Bee, St. John’s staff rallied together to get funding and make an in-person event possible for the students in the La Porte region. The Civic Center has waived the standard building usage fee, in order to assist in supporting the community.
Come to the Bee, on March 13th, to cheer on the St. John’s Bee champ Katie Jedrysek! The Bee begins at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30pm for registration and volunteers who would like to help St. John’s make this a great event for the community.
The current Regional Champ is Nolan Roule, a 2024 Graduate from St. John’s who is currently a freshman at South Central High School.
