Following an engaging and rewarding basketball season focused on enhancing players’ skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork, the students transitioned to Intramural sports to maintain their active lifestyle.
The first Intramural sport featured was Floor Hockey, running from April 3rd to April 11th. With 15 enthusiastic participants on the court from 2:40 to 4:00 pm, the students honed their abilities in positioning, goalkeeping, passing, shooting, and scoring while actively engaging in the game.
Our second sport, Badminton, has commenced for Intramurals starting on Monday, April 22nd, with 26 students joining this year. They play singles according to their grade and experience levels and participate in doubles matches where they collaborate with various partners, showcasing a mix of skills. Badminton sessions are scheduled three times a week and conclude on May 9th, from 2:35 to 4:00 pm. The participants are gaining experience in wielding a racket, maneuvering the shuttlecock (birdie) at different velocities and angles, and applying varying levels of force to clear the net. The Badminton sessions are enjoyed by all participants!
