Dale Fischer and Pastor Albers will represent St. John’s at our Indiana District Convention in Ft. Wayne on June 19 & 20.
St. John’s is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) and as such is a part of the Indiana District. The district gathers in convention once every three years. The primary matter of business is the election of our district leaders: president, regional vice-presidents, Board of Directors, Circuit Visitors and others.
There will also be a series of resolutions presented to the convention, although at last notice very few congregations had memorialized the convention asking for it to act on various items of business.
