Beginning the weekend of April 12/13, the most holy of weeks will be full of services and events, leading up to the most important celebration of the Christian faith! Be sure to make plans to be at church all week! ALL OF THE SERVICES will be in the church sanctuary.

Sunday of the Passion with Procession with Palms
April 13 at 8 am & 9:30 am (April 12 @ 6 pm)
All services on Palm Sunday will be in the Sanctuary, on Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at 8am and 9:30am. There will be a procession with palms as we celebrate the beginning of Passion Week and remember Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
Demonstration Seder Meal
April 15 at 6 pm
Join Pastor and Debra Albers for their annual demonstration Seder, held in the school cafeteria. This opportunity offers a picture of the Jewish traditional meal, which Jesus partook in on Maundy Thursday, and connects it with our Christian traditions. There is a suggested donation of $20-25 per person, to help cover the costs of the meal. Please signup by registering at the bottom of this page, or by contacting the church office, so we know how much food to prepare.
Maundy Thursday, the Paschal Day of the Lord’s Supper
April 17 at 10 am & 6:30 pm
This day recalls the Passover meal that Jesus shared with His disciples, at which He instituted the Lord’s Supper. Both services begin with the Reconciliation of the Penitents with Individual Absolution at the communion rail and the final celebration of the Lord’s Supper before Easter morning. The 6:30pm service ends rather dramatically with the Stripping of the Altar.
Good Friday, the Paschal Day of our Lord’s Death
April 18 at Noon & 6:30 pm
This day recalls Jesus’ journey to the cross and his death for all sinners. At 12pm, the hour our Lord was nailed to the cross, we gather for the Liturgy of the Cross, including the Bidding Prayer and the Veneration of the Cross. At 6:30pm the ‘Way of the Cross’ service expands a bit more the telling of the story of Jesus’ crucifixion with numerous devotional messages and prayer at each step along the way.
The Celebration of Easter, the Paschal Day of our Lord’s Resurrection
April 20 at 6:30 am & 10:00 am
This is THE celebration of our faith as God’s people, the highlight of all we do in worship. Everything in the life of God’s people either points to or flows from this celebration. On the morning of April 20 we will celebrate that our Lord has conquered sin and death through the power of his rising again! Both services will include Holy Communion and each will feature a sermon that proclaims the good news of Christ’s resurrection.
The Sunrise Celebration of the Easter will be at 6:30am. Afterward, all are invited stay and enjoy light refreshments and a time of fellowship in our chapel. The Festival of the Resurrection of our Lord will be at 10am. All are invited to come early, beginning at 9:30am, to enjoy light refreshments and a time of fellowship.
Thanks for your response, but entries for this form are now closed. Check back next March to sign up for Seder on the Tuesday of Holy Week, March 23, 2027.
