Project Welcome: BIG NEWS!
The additional costs of the balcony project have been covered completely by a generous $2,500 gift made by one of our church members. Work on the project is finishing up, so the Governing Board will receive a final accounting at its meeting on April 23rd.
Capital Improvements: Most of the balance of major projects around the church and school are funded by donations to our CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND. We have received more than $30,000 in donations to help with HVAC replacement at the School and Sanctuary, $9,000 of that coming in just the first few months of 2025!
Our major investment in the coming months will be upgrading our HVAC infrastructure for our church building (following a major investment at our school building in recent years). Donations are currently helping to eliminate the deficit in our Capital Improvement Fund which is now just under $20,000. And since new equipment for the sanctuary could cost at least $40,000, the need remains.
