Construction continues as the summer months near an end, and La Porte has no shortage of orange signage and construction crews! Thanks to our St. John’s insider, we have been able to get a bit of a heads-up on the projects that affect many people’s routes to our location. Matt Aquino is a manager on the project that is working on Kingsbury Avenue.
Kingsbury Ave is closed, from South Ave down to Crescent Drive. This detour requires an altered drive through the neighborhood to our southwest. Pastor Albers often just uses Lincolnway and Monroe in place of 18th Street and Kingsbury, while some from the south just turn north on Boyd and make their way down Monroe to the church.
Please be careful as you navigate your way to church among those who are impatiently and speedily navigating these detours.
