Many wonderful memories were made with the Concordia students, both during their wonderful concert and among the host homes who got to spend more time with the students after the concert!
On March 11th, the high school students from Concordia Lutheran in Fort Wayne gave an amazing concert to kick-off their spring tour. Their performances included traditional choral pieces like hymns with brass accompaniment, a barbershop quartet of senior students, and some pieces that the students had ‘competed’ with recently.
The students were hosted by various families from St. John’s. God’s hand was at work in the assigning of the placements as multiple hosts stated that they had a lot in common with the students. All of the hosts also commented that they had an enjoyable evening getting to know the students and look forward to hosting again.
St. John’s is grateful that Concordia chose to begin their tour here. Please continue to keep their students and ministry to Fort Wayne in your prayers this spring.
