On November 16th, several members of the St. John’s community gathered for a time of food, fellowship, devotion and crafting to improve the Sanctuary’s Christmas decorations. The chrismons that have been used on the trees around the church were created in the 1950’s and many have begun to fall into disrepair. Some of these are in good condition and will continue to be used. Many had small breaks and were repaired so that they also can continue to be used.
About 30 brand new chrismons were made, and the names of those who made them were written on the back to commemorate this community event.
