Each Wednesday the school children are encouraged to support a mission project by providing an offering. This quarter that mission project is PROJECT WELCOME. Our children will be providing critical support for our efforts to provide a place of welcome for worshippers and others.
Because 2023 ended with many church members and worshipers providing generously for these projects, the offerings of the children may very well COMPLETE the effort! Each week the children will also get a “front row seat” on the latest project, re-tiling a portion of the chancel, specifically the “altar platform” including the area around the communion rail. The project is scheduled to begin on February 19 and be completed before Holy Week.
