The new year is a great time to get involved in one of the many Bible studies that are just beginning! Each of these are open to new attendees. Those with busy schedules are encouraged to attend when they’re able – irregular attendance is welcomed. Please contact the church office to get connected with the study leaders.

Men’s study, NEW topic begins THIS SATURDAY:

The men’s Bible study meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month, in the chapel at 8:30am. In February, they are beginning a new topic that will be a great discussion. Men are invited to join for just one, or all, of the discussions during this series.
We all experience change for good and not-so-good. The Men’s Bible Study will look at change through the ministry of the prophet Samuel. And, we will also see God’s faithfulness in the midst of change. We’ll meet at 8:30 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 8) in the Chapel. To prepare, read the first three chapters of 1 Samuel. Then bring your coffee cup and brew your own as we begin the study.

The book “Unfailing: God’s Assurance for Times of Change” by Christopher Kennedy will be a great additional resource for this conversation. If you’d like a copy for $15, contact the church office.
The “Meeting Change” study will continue on March 8th, April 12th, May 10th, and June 14th.

Wednesday evenings, Open to ALL: 

During Wednesday nights in Lent, ALL people are invited to discuss Psalm 22 during soup supper at 6:00pm. This study will use devotional materials from Visual Faith. You can just join for the conversation, or purchase a copy of the journal at this link, or contact the church office to have a copy ordered for you.

Sunday morning study: 

Throughout February, Pastor Albers will continue teaching on the fathers of the faith who, despite being known as heroes in the book of Genesis, are still examples of sins and mistakes that highlights God’s unending love and patience for His people. Join in as they study the 12 sons of Jacob in the coming weeks of February.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO STUDY? By the end of February Pastor Albers will finalize plans for the season of Lent, and is always open to your suggestions!
This study begins immediately after the Connect service in the Ladies’ Lounge and concludes by 11:45 am each Sunday.

Women’s Tuesday Morning study: 

The Tuesday morning study group is continuing to study loaded words through February and March. These discussions unpack the baggage of several common church words to discover a richer and deeper understanding that points to God’s love for His people. Remaining words that will be discussed include hell, fear, satan, saved, judgment, church, submit, religion and Christian. The next topic to follow is still to be determined. Join us on Tuesdays, in the chapel at 10am.
