It’s September and that means Bible studies that took a “break” for the summer will be getting underway. EXCEPT, plans are still “in the works,” so check in on Sundays to get more info.  Deaconess Michele is working now to help coordinate activities; she has visits with leaders scheduled for the next couple of weeks.

SATURDAY MEN’S STUDY: Labor Day may signal the start to the end of summer but it also signals new beginnings! The St. John’s Men’s Bible Study will begin again on September 14th at 8:00 AM, we will meet in the Chapel.

Our next bible study topic: God gives His wonderful blessings to all of us as Jesus told in His parable of the Workers in the Vineyard. Preview the parable in Matthew 20:1-16. Bring your coffee cup and brew your own here in the Chapel. Also: gather your thoughts to share about topics and formats for future Bible studies.

WOMEN OF THE WORD: Over the summer the WOW Group did some fabulous work helping to encourage our students and teachers.  THANKS!  Busy, busy, busy schedules mean leaders are still getting plans for the fall finalized. Watch for an email or listen for the announcements in worship next weekend.

SUNDAY MORNING STUDY: Pastor Albers’ travel schedule this month means that a regularly-scheduled study will not begin until Sunday, October 13.

NEW WOMEN’S STUDY: Deaconess Michele’s greatest passion is teaching women’s Bible study, so she is looking to add a day-time women’s study to St. John’s Bible study opportunities. This new class will be an opportunity for fellowship while taking a deep-dive into the Word. If you’re interested in attending or can suggest a time of day, or day of the week, for this new study please reach out to Deaconess Michele. Keep an eye on the weekend announcements for updates as the planning continues.
