Basketball season began on Monday, December 4, with FOUR Eagle teams beginning practices! We also welcome five new coaches. Basketball ball coaches for the 2023-24 season are Mr. Matt Hagenow, Mr. Jacob Zoll, Mr. Ron and Mrs. Mary Jo Maynard, and Mr. Chas Grott. Plans are underway for creating game schedules and tournaments and printed schedules will be available soon.
Our 6-8th Grade Boys Basketball team (10 players) needs a coach. If you are interested in volunteering to coach please contact Julie Stelter, the Athletic Director, via phone (219-362-6692 ext. 128) or email (julie.stelter@stjohns-laporte.com). Games will start in January after Christmas break.
