St. John’s Wins Third Place in the Annual Northwest Indiana Lutheran Middle School Math Contest
The 2025 Math Competition team consisted of Jace Bucher, Mae Crostreet, Avery Harrold, Hunter Crostreet, Vincent Fischer, Emma Lee Kajer, Holly Maynard, Ian Roule, Peter Solum, Ben Cowgill, Katie Jedrysek, and Xander Watkins. On March 4th they traveled to Valparaiso University to compete against eight other Lutheran schools from the area. Overall, our team placed 3rd, with six members individually placing in their grade-level competition. Jace placed 5th against the fifth graders, Hunter placed 5th and Vincent placed 2nd against the sixth graders, Peter placed 5th and Ian placed 4th against the seventh graders. Ben placed 3rd against the eighth graders.
