The Student Council finished up the school year with a fun pizza party to celebrate all of their hard work and accomplishments throughout the year. After enjoying a meal together, students played kickball and practiced for leading the last day of school chapel service. All parents and friends are invited to join for this service at 8:10am in the church sanctuary – you can enter via the main entrance under the Portico facing Monroe Street.
Student Council members also volunteered at the Nelson’s Port-A-Pit Chicken fundraiser by waving signs and helping bag chicken orders for customers. Their willingness to serve and help others was a wonderful example of teamwork and school spirit.
Congratulations to all of the student council members – their determination, creativity and hard work throughout this school year helped various organizations around the community, as well as St. John’s Church. It was a great year of serving and growing in their leadership skills!
