Men’s study:  “Psalms of the Messiah”

Blessed is the Man” is the focus on October 4 when the Men’s Bible Study looks at Psalm 101 as part of the “Psalms of the Messiah” series. The study features thoughts on the Psalm as penned by laymen from around the country. Join us at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel.  If you would like a study book to read ahead, please contact Roland at 573-768-1401.

This group will meet at 8:30 am in the Chapel.

Sunday morning study: Romans

Pastor Albers is continuing the study of the book of Romans – Paul’s letter to the house churches in Rome. Join in for a discussion on how the gospel reveals God’s righteousness and unifies the church under Christ.

This study meets on Sundays at 10:45am in the Ladies’ Lounge.

WOW:

WOW is discussing the book: ‘Stand in Confidence: From sinking in insecurity to rising in your God-given identity’. The book will provide an opportunity for discussions on how we live in the roles God has given us, as His forgiven daughters. More books are still available – all ladies are welcome to join in any week!

This study meets on Wednesdays at 6-7:30pm in the Chapel.

Women Tuesday mornings:

Deaconess Michele is leading a study on emotions, using the book ‘Emotions and the Gospel: Created for Connection’.  Drawing on Scripture, brain science, and real-life stories from ministry, this book shows how anger, joy, anxiety, and even weariness are part of God’s good design in a broken world. If you’d like a book, contact Deaconess Michele at ext. 112. (This study will not meet on October 6th.)

This group meets on Tuesdays at 10am in the Chapel.
