At its meeting on May 18 the Governing Board, acting in its role as our Call Committee, decided to move forward with the call of our next Associate Pastor. They provided the names of FOUR candidates to our District President, Rev. Dr. Richards Stuckwisch. Dr. Stuckwisch will review these names, provide the names of other candidates, and then we will select a few candidates to move forward with into the interview process.
INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
We need your help for this next step! So that we might find the right pastor for our ministry and needs, we’d like others to contribute to the list of questions that will be asked of each candidate. Each individual is encouraged to suggest ONE question, by emailing Pastor Albers at pastoralbers@stjohnslaporte.org. The questions will then be gathered, and combined where there is overlap, into one set of questions that all candidates will be asked. Please submit questions by June 14th so they can be gathered together for the next meeting.
Please continue to keep this process and our Call Committee in your prayers, as we look forward to seeing who God sends to shepherd the flock of St. John’s. If you have any other questions about this process, please speak with Pastor Albers or the members of our Call Committee/Governing Board.
