As the Senior Pastor for St. John's Lutheran Church, Pastor Albers' work has afforded him the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and expertise, working collaboratively with leaders from every part of the community.

For Pastor Albers everything begins with "mission." And while the church has an important, God-given mission to proclaim the Gospel through word and deed, it sometimes loses sight of that mission in favor of sustaining an organization.

However, once a local congregation rediscovers and commits to its mission, a strong organization can help more and more people to find a vital place in the work of God. The church requires what other strong organizations do:
